I hope you all have been enjoying the blog series on Mars in the houses. I found it very interesting indeed that the series began when Mars itself entered Aries after a period of about 14 years. I assure you I did not plan this, but it was probably one of those cosmic events that was an unplanned coincidence. At any rate, understanding Mars is a good step to take in your journey of enlightenment because Mars is one of the personal planets. And understanding your Mars placement is just another way to understand yourself better. As well, when you know your partner’s Mars placement it helps to understand them better at the same time. Mars is the aggressor, and knowing where their Mars is can be very helpful in understanding why they communicate or “go to battle” on some issues more than others. We will reach the halfway point in this journey of understanding today as we look at Mars in houses four, five, and six. So let’s get to it!

Mars in the 4th House
You are best on the home front, my friend, and this is where your true talents and leadership skills will shine. In the outside world you may appear shy and reserved but when you get home, you are the captain or queen of your domain. This is where you feel you have the most energy as well, and where you also feel you truly shine. If you have Mars in this house and are looking for a place to succeed in your career, try and find a way to do so from home. You will be truly in your comfort zone and your passion zone as well and will do very well.

Mars in the 5th House

You take a very laid back approach to love, life, work, and well, almost everything. Where you can be creative and use a freedom of imagination is where you will shine in work and in life. You have a conquering spirit however under your quiet and laid back demeanor, and you play to win. You are best in activities you can choose yourself, ones where you know you can win. At the same time the unknown presents a bit of a challenge to you. You are a very efficient parent and partner though not always the “coziest”. But you will be the first in a group of friends to throw a baby shower or a housewarming party for someone else in the bunch. You are motivated to achieve and do well and you have the same high standards in those around you, including your children and partner. If success can be found in the performing arts you will be in your seventh heaven.

Mars in the 6th House

Mars with this placement has a high priority on work. They will be the ones driving you mad because they are calling to say they will be late because they are stuck at the office, but they won’t call until 8 PM when you’ve already figured that out. They also won’t be there because of the money but because of their personal sense of responsibility to make sure the job is done right. And it will consume them so they forget about everything else around them. This can be frustrating but we love to love them because they are almost always very successful or at least very very good at what they do because of this. They are hard workers in every area of life, so if they commit to you know they will make sure they do the best job possible for you. They don’t like to let anybody down. Because of this you might see them in the healing or helping professions. When they serve others they are at their personal best. You will make for a good leader because you don’t like to waste time and are very disciplined with an eagle eye that has a flawless attention to detail.

And there you are folks, Mars in the 4th, 5th, and 6th houses. What do you think? Do you have any questions? Whether you are asking about the transits themselves or have an individual question drop me a line at Facebook private message or Twitter where you can direct message me. Don’t forget it’s still Reader’s Appreciation Month so even if your question isn’t related to Mars I’d love to hear from you! Next time we will cover the next section in the astrological chart, Mars in the 7th, 8th, and 9th houses. Until then, love and be loved friends. Even when someone’s Mars just doesn’t sit well with you at all. Especially then. Love, Norah Guide
